Doctor says I'm "obese" but I feel okay. Should I lose weight?

  • I will tell you this, Ive been both very (114)underweight and overweight(180) and neither necessarily made me happy. I feel better being on the heavier side but will say the older you get the more health problems will creep up on you. Honestly 300 lbs is probably not a good weight to maintain. It doesn't mean you aren't attractive and active but as you get older it will be harder and harder to deal with, plus if you have kids you could have pregnancy complications...and once they start walking, you have to keep up with them!
    My advice is decide when you may want to get healthier and start small, little exercises and cutting out junk certain days. I think once you see any kind of result you will feel encouraged to keep going.
    The only way you will succeed is if YOU want to do it, and if youre not ready nobody can make you change. Good luck!
