Medication can only be doled out when the doctor prescribes is it sounds like all you have to do it wait. No doctor worth their salt would turn down someone with high blood pressure.
My GP faxes scripts through to my pharmacist if I ask for them by phone and leaves a hard copy for me to pick up & take to the pharmacist later.
But then, he's probably not trying to make people come in unnecessarily so he can make more money.
