To me, it seems like the new generation of 20-somethings aren't as fond of alcohol as previous generations were. From what I remember, 20 somethings when I was a kid, like 15 years ago, drank A LOT more than they do now, and were partying a lot more.

Alcohol is a social drug. If no one is hanging out in person and instead is just scrolling through twitter they arent gonna drink as much
I don't know anyone personally under the age of 30 that drinks alcohol regularly. I'm 26 & I only ever had 1 drink of beer when I was 7 (thought it was root beer) & never had it since because I didn't like the taste or being drunk.
I know quite a few people who don’t drink and quite a few who drink loads
The UK reached peak youth binge drinking in 2004. Britain still has a problem with alcohol but I’m glad to see a reduction in young people being peer pressured to poison themselves.
Definetely not. I don't drink much and neither does my friends but I know most young people do and the friend I had who was more social drank a lot with his equally social friends.
