I really don't mean this to be insulting and I hope it isn't, but if you literally are aware that your behavior and thinking are irrational and completely absent of logic, why continue behaving like that?
I'm a guy so I'm fascinated by this mostly feminine phenomenon.
Impulse, I guess. I dont know really. Something triggers the feeling and all common sense goes out the window. It over rules everything. Then I eventually snap out of it, realize how silly it was and then comes guilt.
