Do you walk the same way that you drive?

  • Not really. I walk very fast, most people have a hard time keeping up with my pace. I don't know why I do it. I generally go around people and it always seems that I am in a rush, even if I am not.

Ironically, I drive the speed limit or five miles above (depending on traffic and whether or not I am on the highway, in the city I rarely break the speed limit, we have jaywalkers out the wazoo here), depending on the pace of traffic, which is considered slow here in California. I have seen too many speed-related fatalities on the road to drive like a maniac all the darn time. I generally stay in the two right-most lanes and keep a distance of three car lengths between myself and guy in front of me, traffic permitting. I also let people in front of me quite frequently.

Although if all traffic is going the speed limit or under (like a bunch of people are dragging ass that day), I will get into the fast lane and take it to 85 to get ahead of the slugs so I don't have to be stuck behind them the entire time doing 55. That's just ridiculous.
