Im bisexual and MANY of my gay/bi/transgender friends find this phrase offensive. Its not like we all go around wanting to have sex with anyone of the same gender and I don't know this phrase just isn't right.
You really shouldn't ever have to say "no homo", but most people aren't comfortable with their own sexuality. They say "no homo" because they're insecure and it makes them feel better. I say it to my friends but only because I know they're insecure, most things stereotypically "homo" don't bother me unless they're clearly sexual.
I kind of agree with you in that it really isn't right. It degrades gays and bi people to being whores that only care about sex. Kinda sad...
Do you use the phrase "no homo"?
