How many of you normals are on dA?
Many years ago, I had one and then I deleted it vowing never again to join again. Well, I did about, perhaps, a year ago. I think part of my main reason for doing so was because I got paranoid to ridiculous extremes over the Mayan Calendar. Anyway, I have it but since I still haven't copyrighted my work, I still haven't uploaded anything. Another thing is that its a ridiculous chore to type my password in because that site has the irritating rule of password strengths. Basically, you can't really have an account with a short password without them guilt tripping you into getting a long one because to them, short equals weak and long and complicated equals strong, which to me should also equal difficult to remember! I also don't agree with a lot of its doings and I've read enough complaints to want to boycott the site. I like to forget that I have a profile. However, one day, sadly, I might actually find myself using it.
Haha, what a story! I deleted my account about 8 months ago. I ended up having withdrawals a few weeks ago so I went to see about reactivating it. Turns out it's nothing like FaceBook with the deactivation thing. Once it's gone, it's gone for good after 30 days. I was heartbroken but I figure it just may be for the best!
(I made a new account, though I haven't logged on a second time! *pats on back*)
You can find some awesome stuff there. And Deviantart helps me with some inspiration for concept vehicles. In my free time I like to draw concept vehicles. Got all my pencils and tools. I make vehicles with amazing detail and deviantart does help when i'm in need for some inspiration.
All the time. It's open in another tab, now. I mostly browse, but I submit, also. And you have to understand there are great artists on there, too. Even professionals- Zemotion, Humon, iPoppet, Clap-san, Ryuuka-Nagare, snowmask...they are all amazing artists. Just have to look at the right pages, I guess?
I used to use it for drawing, painting and writing but it's years since I painted seriously and I don't think I even remember my dA password now.
The only stuff I do still maintain is on LiveJournal. Don't worry. None of the IINers have been mentioned publicly. Well, not yet, anyway.
