      He lives by it and he is miserable. He has no friends and doesn't talk to his family. Once I'm gone he will have no one. He is depressed because of the way he lives. I wish you luck and hope you don't end up like him.

        I have many friends and I talk to my family. I'm extremely happy because of the way I live. I will never end up like him. I'm not him.

          'never put yourself in a situation where anybody can hurt you or take something away from you. Always protect yourself. Give nothing away.' This is very contradicting with what you wrote above. I think you need to loosen up man. Or else you WILL feel miserable. Just saying.
