It isn't really as black and white as the voting options make it seem. Lots of friends have told me I'm the kindest person they've ever known. That doesn't mean that I am, it just means I am good to people in my life and in public. On IIN I am more assertive with my opinions and there's a concentration of ignorant people here, so I don't mince words when trying to get my point across. Add to that the lack of context tone of voice would bring and maybe that makes me an asshole in somebody's eyes. But, in general, I am not an asshole.

I don't think I am, but most others would probably disagree. I'm not sure if standoffish, not overly interested in being social, and being an asshole are totally different or similar though. I guess points on the same spectrum perhaps?

I'm not sure. I usually try to be friendly but get annoyed once in a while. I have a lot of trouble understanding others so I know I can come off as rude without trying to. I often don't know why something is rude even when I'm told it's rude. Humans are funny creatures.
