A drink is always welcomed XD
On the plus side, you can always get medical discharge papers... Same procedure as Bulgaria, grease a hand and you're out.
I served and am in the reserves, but if shit hits the fan, I'll be "disabled" and unable to fight, making sure my parents are out of any danger.
1984? Lol young kid. There has been talks of world war 3 since the start of the cold war in 1947 and the closest the world came to world war 3 was in 1962 during the cuban missile crisis. Tensions in 1962 were far higher than the 2020 gulf crisis. Do research before talking such topics lol..
Trumps not in a position to pull this for reelection. He simply has the ego that would contradict needing to bomb a general without good reason. If obama did this I would give him the benefit of taking out a KNOWN TERRORISM PLANNNER. Obama has killed us citizens in some of these airstrikes no backlash. Trump kills a terrorist general and we have people begging BEGGING on Twitter for iran not to kill us. What a bunch of babies for people actually believing this would start ww3!
An iran war? Maybe. Ww3 hell no. World wars fuck up trade and no country in this day of age wants to fuck with exports. Iran might be Russias ally but that's the equivent america is an ally saudi Arabia. We are only allies because Saudi arabia is rich and we need them tactically. Russia is Iran's ally but they ain't willing to spill russian blood over Iran's dirt. As well as americans dont physically fight in saudi Arabias wars.
Liberal crybabies are just coming out in 2020 strong with the Hope to keep their stuffy up long enough to get in the election with any sway.
Suleimani was indeed a nasty piece of work who had a lot of blood on his hands, and the regime in Iran he worked for is horrible in many ways, not least because of what the religious fanatics in charge have inflicted on the people of Iran.
But it seems to me that taking out one person, no matter how powerful, often has only a marginal effect. If you accept the hypothesis of there being an infinite number of alternative universes, there will be many where Hitler was killed in the trenches of WWI. The history of such a world would undoubtedly be different to what we know, but the fundamental economic, political and cultural forces that led to the rise of Hitler and the Nazis would still exist, and in many of those alternative worlds there still would have been a global cataclysm a couple of decades after the end of WWI.
Over the years, the USA has been involved removing lots of people from power via assassination and less bloody ways. What's different about this event is that it was so in-your-face. Not only did the method of assassination mean there was zilch deniability about the USA's responsibility for taking out a senior member of another country's leadership, the President of the USA has been gloating about it like some Marvel-universe super villain.
I said no but on the other hand Iran is suspending the Iran Nuclear Deal that prohibited them from making a nuke. Iran also said that they'll go after the US military and not civilians. those last two statements a kind of contradictory. Iran's influence is waning and don't want a full scale war, even though they blew up a green zone Cough* Cough*.
Anything is possible with the current occupant of the White House, but I hope that the leadership of Russia and China - while a lot nastier in many ways than the Great Orange Buffoon - will have enough sense not to get directly involved. More likely that they have enough sense to stand back, give what assistance they can to Iran behind the scenes and allow Trump to shove the USA into another pointless, unwinnable conflict that results in even more American deaths than the 2,400 who have so far died in Afghanistan and wastes even more than the $2.4 trillion that adventure has cost so far.
First of all... WoW, "Rag Head", Racism much.
Secondly, i could just say the same thing about America. America often provokes attracts, and trys to show power over other countries. Or when you went to war in Iraq in 2003, you used faulty evidence saying that Baghdad had been running a program to create mass destruction (which was untrue). Or the times the US basically put money and weapons into civil war making it more bloody then it need to be. The Soviets did it too, but that doesn't give you justification to do it too. Or When trump use a drone to kill the general and he said he did it to stop future conflicts, but it caused the opposite and could start another war! I understand that America is often not the aggressor, but you escalate it to a level it doesn't need to be at. Just because you think they did something bad, don't let your bullshit patriotism blind you.
America, like many other countries, is a very complicated place. But when they (the collective muslims under which ever hat they wish to wear)show such fanaticism as their only world wide broadcasts you think you can have a rational debate with them.
You sound like a left wing American college product, sad.
"No one fought anyone during the Cold War."
If anything, "Cold War" is a misnomer because ever since the end of WWII and the present there has always been at least one conflict somewhere in the world where the proxies of the USA have been fighting the proxies of the USSR (and now Russia) and/or China.
There might not have been Americans on the ground in Afghanistan shooting at Russians, or Chinese or Russians shooting at Americans in Vietnam, but saying that proxy conflicts were not related in any way to the conflict between the USA, the USSR/Russia and China is ahistorical.

I am deeply disappointed with Trump that he has bombed Iran. It's the same story as Iraq. This general guy was supposedly this god awful person and we killed him as a humanitarian effort to save the ppl of the world (even tho no one has ever heard of the guy). The humanitarian story doesnt add up either because we have heavy sanctions on Iran which is causing the common folks to starve. Its an alterior motive of course and i refer anyone to the leaked Hillary email where she explains why regime change is so important in Iran and Syria. And it has nothing to do with benefitting us but our ally. This is the most damning email leak from Hillary and oddly enough there was media blackout over that email. No media brings this email up.
