I didn't like 80's music in the 80's, but it may be because I was too young, and didn't get into music until 1988 with the discovery of Metal. I still think a lot of 80's music sucks, but since 2006, I've been really big on New Wave/Synthpop.
The 90's had a lot of sucky artists, but I primarily went for bands and singers that didn't get their dues. I was a huge fan of early 90's Hardcore and Gangsta Rap, and it's clearly better to the Rap of today.
The music of 2000's and 2010's only works for me when it's Punk, but I have a huge belief in local music, and have seen a bunch of small-timers who I think are thousands of times better than the music stupidstars (sic.) of today.
