We eat both, mostly cooked because we eat beef and pork of corse but fish is cooked & raw, we eat eggs raw if it is fresh, whale meat raw, and horse.
But yeah mostly are cocked
Hes a japanese comedian, he got sick once tho. But yeah some eat streight from the sea, but when they cut the fish if there is worm its very obvious because we cut it into thin strips for sashimi or sushi. So no one ever gets sick.
Sometimes some resturant serve old fish and give people food poisoning but worms are extremely rare
Do You think this is normal?

Personally I only like raw fish and not cooked so I believe I might like certain Japanese dishes. I also like raw mashed beef.

No because japanese meat policys are SUPER strict, so the meat has to be extremely clean, plus the fishes for sushi is mostly grown at a fish farm.
