No, I don't think it's yoi (Japanese for nice) and normal for a person from 日本国 Nippon-koku or Nihon-koku to be using a confusing word of uncertain origin (Choctaw, Mande or Bantu), instead of 'nice'.
From which tribe(s) are you descended from? Azumi people, Fusang, Hayato people, Koshibito,
Kumabito, Kumasi, Mishihase,
Saeki people.
Perhaps, even the Jōmon-jin people (modern Ainu people) on Hokkaidō.
Good business plan, Apple,MS and Yahoo are kicking themselves. Google translate released Lao a few months back. Lao translates terribly and Thai rather ordinarily.
Do You think this is normal?

That's half the appeal of Google translate: when it gets it wildly wrong :P
I think the country is just 日本 and not 日本国 which means Japanese (the language) but I might be wrong.
