Do you think this is an "iin" site, or becoming an advice website?

I think it's always been an advice website (for hipsters who think Yahoo Answers is too mainstream).

Good point. I hadn't really considered it. I can really understand why some people like things to be strictly defined and adhered to (it's a very male trait that I forced myself to unlearn). But I'm with wigsplitz on this. It can be both.

I agree that you're right, but it doesn't bother me. Thankfully, it doesn't bother TheManagement either who tend to adopt a very laissez-faire attitude to the way this site is used; something I really appreciate and something they don't really get credit enough for.

Yep I agree its getting completely anoying because when it turns into an advice site.....what am I talking about? it is an advice site pretty much mostly because you get all these sad sobby teenagers either asking questions like "IIN I lover her/him" or "IIN that I have nightmares". Its anoying because all of their questions are normal they are just too much brain damaged to realise how retarded they are for not knowing its normal in the firts place.

I think its just like a troll heaven.

I don't really think that it matters on what it technically is. Stories and polls vary in many different ways. Some are IIN questions, some ask for advice, while others create polls asking how many times one pees in a day. IIN is a website that can help pretty much any person looking for guidance or witty and creative comments on a completely ridiculous story.

I'm happy to receive any and all advice from this website. It's what keeps bringing me back over and over again.

I'm actually just here for the advice. I already know that no matter how sick and perverted the story I tell here is, there will always be someone who won't even blink an eye....so I already know I'm "normal"

I think its both, as many questions are IIn, but many people have their own advice that goes with the question. I usually say what I think, then offer any advice i have on it.

Of couse, I wasn't saying it was a bad thing. Just curious if anyone else felt the same
