    I kind of wish I had challenged her. But it wasn't really appropriate. Sigh.

      Don't feel bad about it, at least you're tactful. I'd probably be better off if I learned to keep my mouth shut more, been kicked out of a few places for speaking my mind when it wasn't appropriate.

      You're not obligated to confront anyone. However, if she thinks it's appropriate to say something that awful, replying "fuck you" isn't going to lower the quality of the conversation.

        Yeah, it just wasn't the situation for what could have turned into a slightly 'heated' discussion, I guess.
