It's not a matter of political correctness, it's a matter of factual accuracy. Autism is a nervous disorder, not a psychological disorder. You make it sound like Autistic people are deranged. We are not. Our brains process information differently. That's all. We are not mentally unstable. Having autism doesn't make us more likely to shoot up a building. We're not crazy.
"Autism spectrum disorder is indeed categorized as a mental disorder—also called a mental illness—in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5). The DSM-5 also classifies autism as a neurodevelopmental disorder (a subcategory of mental disorders). In other words, although autism is classified as a general mental disorder, it may be better conceptualized by its subcategory: a developmental disorder"
I mean yeah if someone has a mental disorder calling them unstable is unfair but they are also so much more likely to be unstable vs the normal person.
So not completely right but also not completly wrong either.
Do you think there is a link between autism and mass shootings?
