Ummm no, I think how hairy a man is tells me what kind of climate his ancestors live in. There is nothing manly or feminine about body hair, because we BOTH have it. (society just tells women to shave and not men, even though body hair is nothing more than a sign of sexual maturity)
Men have more because historically they spent more time out of the cave. People who live in colder parts of the world have more hair on their body, the Egyptian race was practically hairless. It's all based on evolutionary standards that were set in much earlier generations.
