  • What do you define as splitting the world apart? And why is it bad?

    • World peace doesn't exist because of religion, racism, world hunger, etc...
by splitting the world apart I meant like it's hard for people to get along

      • While each religion or to be fair each faction of each religion could be analyzed as to how members within it get along with one another, I assume the point that you're making is referring to the difficulties that arise between multiple religions/sects within a religion/religious vs non religious people. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Here the aspect of religion that makes it difficult for people to get along is tribalism, something that exists just as much in pre-religious/current nonreligious societies (tribes). To have even a sample of several thousand people exist without there being multiple tribes at odds with one another is very difficult to achieve. In fact the only mechanism that has been able to hold peace across very large groups is religion.

        • And how exactly are you sure about this? 🤔

          • There is plenty of information on hunter-gatherer societies I have studied out of passion to some extent. I don't mean to be making any big claim here. Simply that tribalism exists independent of religion. And that religious sects individually are the largest coexisting groups of people the world has seen. Both of these should be evident.
