Think for a minute. Can you name all eight of your great grandparents? What about all sixteen of your great great grandparents? Very few people can. These are your own ancestors, and we're only talking about three or four generations.
My point is that no matter what you do or what you accomplish, at the age of seventy or eighty, you are going to die. In a hundred years, no one will remember you.
Sure, a few people will be remembered, but the overwhelming majority of human beings will live and die and return to the earth and no one will ever know anything about them.
There is no meaning to life.
