    • That it is an addiction and a mental disorder (and physical) similar to but worse than alcoholism.

    • Definition: the condition of being grossly fat or overweight. Being fat is not all in your mind. If someone is overweight they are PHYSICALLY OVERWEIGHT.

Now if they are anorexic or something like that they might have a warped perception and see themselves as bigger than they are. However if you are fat you are fat. Its not like you thinking you are fat is going to make you instantly gain 10 pounds.

Secondly you actually need sugar. There is fast acting sugar and carbs. Carbs instantly turn into fat and are stored for later, fast acting sugar like soda often will make a person hyper and whatever is left is stored as fat.

As well as this sugar, salt, fat and greece is very flavorful so of course these type of foods are going to be more attractive since they taste a lot better.

Now people who just eat and eat and eat and never stop eating since they love food yes I think have some sort of mental problem. Since normal people will stop eating after a point. They are just glutton's.

However saying "Obesity is a mental issue" is ridiculous. Since its PHYSICAL! ITS NOT MENTAL! If you said people might become Obese because they have a mental problem that would make a lot more sense.
