Space = imminent breakup. Think of it if she loves you more than anything she would want to always be with you. My ex gf used the dreaded space word too.
I don't think space always means breakup. In my last relationship I told my gf I needed space and wanted to live separately but when she finally agreed she broke up with me.
I was not intending to break up though. I know no matter how much I like someone I will always need lots of space. Some people just need more alone time than others. I do wonder though if I am able to feel love the way other people do because most emotions are different to me I think. I often do not understand when people describe what they feel.
