I think in our society as it is right now, unless you're religious marriage is completely meaningless. I told my mom I thought so and that I didn't want to get married, and you know what she answered? she said "well what if you're with a rich guy and he dies and you don't get any of his money?", i was shocked and thought to myself that if this is the only reason for marriage, then it is truly pointless for myself.
