Maybe marriage has gained meaning? Years ago you weren't expected to marry someone you love. No sir, the concept of love was reserved for fancy novels and motion pictures. Now a days people are more independent and can survive without marriage. And they're not expected to make babies immediately. I would say marriage is more about love nowadays.
