So I bought this car for 4500 and have owned it for two months. I got in a car accident today. My first one ever and am waiting to hear from the insurance. I want your opinions what should I do

If the damages can be repaired for less than the value of the car, insurance will pay the estimated cost to fix it. If the cost to repair the damage is more than the car is worth then it's considered totaled. That doesn't necessarily mean anything other than 1. It'll get a marked title 2. Rather than paying for fixing the car, insurance will cut you a check for its book value. Totaled =/= worthless or undriveable.
What you do with the money and the car thereafter is your choice. Keep it, fix it, sell it, replace it, blow the money on hookers and candy...whatever you want.

was the police involved? did you drive away from the wreck or git towed? how bout the other guy? what was yall drivin? what was the other guy drivin? who was at fault? what parta the car got damaged?
I think it's fixable. But is it worth it the money to repair it? Well, maybe not...
See what can be salvaged for parts and resold to others...save the funds by a MK4 VW golf or Jetta for about 1000-2000 and enjoy.
