Do you think high confidence can physically make you look better?

Obviously it can do wonders on impressions you give people and the general essence you bring to the world and people you meet. But do you think a healthy high level of confidence can actually change you physically for the better? Do you think having low confidence can physically change you for the worse? after all we create an image of oursleves in our heads , can that ultimately guide us to becoming that? yes or no , why? and have you experienced anything that supports your thoughts on this? I'd love to hear, thanks! :)

It depends. Confidence can be attractive, but a cocky person can be ugly too.

Yes, I do think that confidence do make people look more attractive. The way they move, the way they talk. I've always been seduced more by manners than by looks.

    It depends.

Those who are naturally gorgeous without trying really don't need to be confident and can behave any way they want. It's due to the general public trusting and desiring an attractive face more, so much so that many will completely ignore stranger danger or obvious warning signs in behavior.

For the average Joe/Jane, we need our body language to show confidence as well as build social skills to fake conversations. Confidence is not meant to make us look better in appearance, but to be more approachable and likable despite our appearance. Basically saying, "Hey, I know I look crazy and missing a tooth, but I'm normal, won't hurt you, and I can make you laugh with corny jokes!"

Bottom line, we're animals. Some of us are smart and trust our instincts, a lot of us are stupid and judgmental. Society is literally 'Fake it until you make it.'

People are able to sense body language to an extent subconsciously.

If you have an overblown fantasy version of yourself in your head with no bearing on reality, you just come off as an ass. But confidence is good. I think it's more that if you're socially phobic or awkward socially you tend to avoid people and assume most interactions are going to go negatively. Like if you assume somebody isn't going to like you before you meet them you'll focus on feedback that validates your idea.
