In Sweden they never shut down and they're doing fine. They had more cases than most others but still its not what we were expecting. We thought this virus was gonna be worse than it turned out to be. Not saying its a joke but we thought millions would die.
Your country is so small, with nearly 5000 dead I'd still say that's a fair lot especially since people from other countries dont travel there as much as to America.
I didnt mean to make the post sound like I was from Sweden lol I'm actually from America. But yeah Sweden did have more cases than most but not as many as Italy. They did alright considering they never shut down. I think the virus isnt as bad as we once thought because all the predictions were off. We believed our hospitals would be overrun and it hasnt happened. I think its time to open up but we should better secure the elderly.
Should we actually care though? Hospitals are completely stocked cause you know that was the entire point of this shutdown, to be prepared for any covid case.
Oh okay, you really did seem like you were from Sweden lol. Well in America the hospitals were overwhelmed. They had to bring in retired nurses and doctors and create makeshift hospitals as well as bury people in temporary graves so yeah I'd say it was pretty bad in the first few months.
Do you think coronavirus cases will largely spike soon?

We should care if it spreads again because many people can die and infect vulnerable loved ones.
