It depends. For instance, I wanted to go to MICA, but my family had a flip out over the cost. They said it was "racist", because of the price. But to me, the price is that way because it is one of the top Art Schools in the world. I've sense given up on wanting to go there. If I got a scholarship, which I high doubt, it probably wouldn't pay for all expenses.
I think it's a shame that the majority of people don't have the money and probably will miss out on the benefits of the college. I'd much rather go to Canada or Europe for my art:)
My boyfriend really wanted to go to mica. He draws, and he's pretty amazing. I think he was on his way to getting a scholarship back when we were in highschool, but I guess he didn't know how to prioritize(still doesn't) so he slacked off. Because of that, he's kind of ceased drawing :(. It's sad because he loved doing it and was great at it but now he just spends his free time pissing me off instead of picking up a damn pencil. Smh.
