  • I knew about the water crisis a decade ago because there was concerns over the water situation a decade ago. China being China they chose to ignore it instead they chose to threaten their neighbors.

The whole idea that china plans into centuries is a load of crap. Xi only thinks for himself and a communistic dictatorship like china only thinks as far as their glorious leader will allow.

Still if they crash there will be a crash everywhere. Your right about america surviving economic crashes. China tends to go through starvation when that happens. Starvation is fine if most of your population is poor farmers. But with the recent boom in the middle class starvation will be met by even more civil unrest than poor farmers.

    • But on the other hand do yku think that are socially quite strong?

They're training their youth to be good workers and 80% of college grads are engineers this is to work on their giant factories. They are teaching maculinity classes and it seems the chinese population is very ambituous and theres a collective dream for china (from the chinese I talk to when they use a VPN and get on discord.)

I feel the US is raising beta male leaches. Socially china is better off I think and less divided. Thats the thing I look at and has me worried. I feel America has never been so weak and we may need a major war to toughen up our population.

America has a huge disadvantage because now we can not do something harsh even if it absolutely needs to be done. China can get things done qnd doesnt care if theyre harsh. Sometimes harsh things have to be done.

      • Societally they arent as well off as you think theres a high disproportion of males to females. As well as the male burden to be successful with being the only male born per generation. A drive that doesnt make too good soldiers willing to die for ones country.

In a real war I think China will find itself to be woefully unprepared for a fight. If 2/3rd of your bootcamp experience is learning the intricacies of communism I dont think they will have a very good time in the hellfront of war. Especially if they are attacking beyond their homeland.

        • I agree with that I think China would get slaughtered in a war. I think their society is good for furthering their ecomomic growth. But China lacks the experience to fight with the other super powers who have been at constant war for hundreds of years.

          • Another thing you got to consider is that china has the largest population of diabetics in the world. Nearly a third of its population either has diabetes or is prediabetic. That's not a good thing to have when you could have supply shortages.
