Yeah on to the next thing to have us all worried about. Russia invading the ukraine soon and we go to war. Its always something. Then China will probably invade Taiwan because they know the country is being run by demented weaklings.
China's economy is already starting to implode... all inflicted by China itself.
The key early failures and indicators have already happened (the people of China have stopped investing their money in remote apartments or condos... and there are millions of vacant units in mostly shell buildings built on debt, and no one is now buying them - nor can sell them, and the massive housing construction industry is grinding to a halt - millions of jobs; Trillions in debt).
It may take a few more years for things to collapse... and then there will be very little Chinese Military to worry about; and most likely the last thing China will be worrying about is Taiwan.
People are underestimating how serious this evergrande thing is in china. One must also realise that modern day China has not been through much yet. They have had massive growth in the past decades but America has been through world wars, depressions, civil war, every kind of market crash there is and we are still here steady growing. We will see how china is able to deal with its problems in the future. But if history repeats itself china will again destroy itself.

Starvation is fine if most of your population is poor farmers. But with the recent boom in the middle class starvation will be met by even more civil unrest than poor farmers.
Xi will stop at nothing to get Taiwan. It's not about China it's about xi trying to hold power. If his country is in shambles the best he can do is scapegoat tiawan and try to be a military leader. Problem is that china is terrible at war. If he fails that just might be the opening his rivals need to just off him and take power. Xi needs to show that hes powerful. Not China.

Fighting a two front war is possible (that's what allies are for) but we should wrap up the Russian conflict asap and focus on china.
If we defeat china their economy implodes. And boom no more 2nd largest economy.

I only heard they think Omicron is cusping/the surge is falling now.
If that’s the case though, that could be good news, I know they were lockdown trigger happy
