    A more stringent definition is agamogenesis which is reproduction without the fusion of gametes. Asexual reproduction is the primary form of reproduction for single-celled life forms such as the archaea, bacteria, and protists. Many plants and fungi reproduce asexually as well..
    The offspring will [usually] be exact genetic copies of the parent.

      This is why I don't like the term asexual being used for humans. We can't rip our arm off and spawn an offspring from it.

        Whatever, it's a word with 2 different meanings, just like many others, it's no big deal. The problem is, on this site we have this douche-bag who won't give up the chance to purposely interpret incorrectly the first one of these words that he comes across, no matter how clear the context. He thinks that makes him look intelligent because he believes to be the first one to have noticed the fact that such a word could mean something else. That's how deep up his own ass he is. He's an absolute retard.
