Yes, abortion is alright if the concerned parties aren't ready for parenthood. It's better than 2 peoples' lifes going downhill and one person starting their life at the bottom. I am also of the opinion that abortions are justified if the potential offspring has a high chance of disability, in fact; I think if any party concerned knows that the child WILL suffer from a major disability (eg. Trisomy 21), then abortion should be mandatory for the good of the parents, child, grandparents and society.
This is kind of sickening. Shouldn't it be the parent's choice whether or not to keep a child with a disability? Why don't you go down to the ADAPT action going on right now and mention that?
I'm pro choice, but what you are suggesting is taking away the parent's choice. That I cannot abide.
