I think a world where all people regardless of whether they are persons of faith, agnostics or atheists refrained from trying press their will on one another would be best! I think the problem more about people wanting to control others than anything else. Yes there are religious people who want to control others, but there are atheists who want to control their fellow man as well. I think this problem is a character flaw that is fundamental to human nature. We can look at our closest relatives, the chimpanzees and see this same ugly flaw.
Aye.. We should be more like bonobos than chimpanzees.. Almost the same animal but with a very different and peaceful society!
It's only the 'desert cult' religions.. mainly Christian and Muslim that want to control others.. The older religions seem happier to live and let live.
