They don't "take it overboard" because people don't choose their personalities. Gay guys don't realize they're gay and then say "well I guess I should start talking with a lisp!" There are feminine men and masculine men, and feminine women and masculine women, and everything in between, which is why the terms "feminine" and "masculine" aren't very useful terms. Why do YOU act the way you do? Who knows?
And I'll think you'll find women that DO act like that, assuming you're referring to interest in fashion, colorful personality, high-pitched voice, etc.
I felt like you were, but thanks for clearing it up :}.
Yeah I know it wasn't the best choice of words, but I didn't know how else to put it. What I meant was like, there are clearly some gay men who I guess.."fit the stereotype" for a gay man and there are some that you'd never have guessed it. I'm interested in which the OP is.
Do you think " Gay-only " events are unnescessary?

Oh I know, I wasn't berating you if it seemed like that. I just think "taking it overboard" isn't the best way to think about it.

Yeah, I read over my comment and realized I sounded harsh. Didn't mean it like that.
