I'm currently in Community College, and I don't take it as seriously as high school, but that's because in hs I was taking all AP's. In Community College I have like 2 days to do my homework, usually, and it's not even a lot, so I get pretty lazy. Plus, I'm still not even sure what I want to do with my life. I'm not saying that I don't take community schooling seriously, it's just I've become lazier and I don't feel like my life is moving forward. I still show up to all my classes and do my homework, but it's just like, life just didn't turn out like how I wanted it by this age.
I went to get laid, didn't quite turn out like that. I ended up becoming a mechanical engineer. Still found a girlfriend though... I hated every second of college... hahaha
I take my career-orientated classes seriously, but procrastinate on the stupid (to me, anyways) classes like english, public speaking, P.E., etc., ugh. Like right now. I have a rough draft due tomorrow for english. Where am I? IIN. I am paying for these classes so I do get good grades though.
I do have an intense career goal ahead of me though, so overall, I do take college seriously.
You pay that much money to go why would you not take it seriously? If its free that means it comes out of taxes. Either way you pay for it you should take it seriously.
This morning I ditched my lectures to spend four hours in the library writing an essay. Take that level of dedication as you will.
