No, I didn't mean that. I mean, I support the right to defend yourself even if it means killing. I also understand the personal desire for revenge if someone did something horrible to you. No, I don't think it should be legal for you to kill that person "after the fact" but I UNDERSTAND, and in a way I believe in retribution, just not the state handing it out. I believe in the death penalty in principle, but I cannot agree that the government can put people to death. That doesn't mean I automatically think that citizens should have the LEGAL right to. They may have a moral right to though.
