This is actually one of the things on my bucket list. I want to be able to try it for the first time with someone I trust because I don't know how I'm going to react to it.
I was the same way my first time, a few years ago. I was nervous to try it at first because I didn't want to be known as the girl that's totally crazy while she's high, haha. I tried it alone with the guy I was dating at the time and found out I'm pretty chill while I'm high, and now it's allllll goood :b haha
That is a good approach, especially if you've never done anything else before (other drugs or got drunk). Not to say that smoking pot is like doing those other things, but if you've never had your mind "altered" before, you might not know how to handle it.
My first time was with my husband when we were dating. He started using it for medical reasons, but I came from a background that taught me all drugs are bad, alcohol too, period.
Anyway, I was angry with him for it, but he kept telling me it wasn't as bad as I thought. He was smart so I decided to trust him and not have a beef with his own use. Then after I was with him several times when he smoked and saw nothing weird was happening to him, I decided to try it too. At first I was angry at him because it did more than what I expected, or did something else entirely. But I didn't feel like I could literally get mad at him. I just didn't have it in me. And he said, "Let's go for a walk!" And I was afraid that wasn't safe, but he said it would be fine and so we did. It was fun and relaxing. I don't do it that much anymore, it just doesn't agree with my current situation, but every once in a while I still do and enjoy it. Helps a lot with insomnia and also helped me with anxiety problems and pain.
Good idea. It's always good to have an experienced "drug" user to coach you through how much to do and what to expect. This is one of the reasons you hear about so many kids going to the hospital after smoking synthetic pot, even though there's nothing wrong with them, they're just high or smoked too much the first time and didn't know that's what it is like.
Wow that sounded more rude than I meant it to! Shouldn't be posting so late at night lol. What I meant to say, was that the best way is to just relax. Weed really won't affect you super crazily. No need I stress about being "super-extra mature." Just take a deep breath and relax:) if you try to act a certain way, it'll stress you out and make the whole experience less enjoyable! Have someone you trust there and let the rest come to you:)
Oh, well, yeah, that's the whole plan. When I say "super-extra mature", I mean, like, I don't want to jump head-first into a giant joint or something. Baby-steppies. You know? That's all... ^_^
Do you smoke cannabis?

I don't mean to offend you but you seem like you'd be a really bad time high.

Why do you say that? I know at least two, maybe three, people who say I'd be really fun high. :P
