Sometimes when you come home from a hard day of work with nobody home and nobody to cook for, it's nice to at least hold something while you cry yourself to sleep

I have a stuffed turtle named Franklin that I have had since I was 2. I'm 25 now. I don't sleep or carry around anymore, but I hug him once before I go to bed every night. He is my childhood in one object. I can't imagine my life without him, or where he would be just a memory.

One of the cool things about having kids is you get a pass to buy whatever childish crap you want
My wife really likes that Pusheen cat, so I get to buy her those little stuffed animals and we can use them as nursery decorations. And my nephew likes dinosaurs so we get to buy dinosaur toys and games which I think are great

But I don’t see any issue with people keeping stuffed animals. If I’m sleeping alone I put a pillow or rolled blanket under my arm, would it be kinda goofy if the pillow was the shape of a turtle ? Probably. But does it really change anything ? I think it’s pretty sentimental and sweet when folks keep their old childhood animal/toy

No, I make plushies of my original characters and sleep with them. I have a plushie of Gustav the tornado I made. As well as some others including one of myself. When I am feeling lonely or sad or scared, I will cuddle them, and each of the characters has different properties.

          Orci

          Shes not creative.

As illustrated by three seperate stuffed animals that are named a variation of moo. Only one of which is an actual cow. Moo (the pokemon mew but pronounced as moo) and moos

I loudly and vocally shame them. It's so overwhelming, I can't go anywhere without legions of adults carrying around gigantic stuffed animals. I'd rather see murders occur in the streets than this godless society!! /s

Eh. Women its alright as long as they dont go full furry.

My girlfriend just loves cute shit. Hell shes looking for hello kitty brand pots and pans. I find it cute that she finds it cute. Shes and adult doing adult stuff, but likes cute things. It empathizes her wanting to have children which I find to be very attractive.

Meh, I used to but then I stopped and realized why the fuck should I care if an adult carries around a stuffed animal? It's their life.

Besides, My boyfriend collects Pokemon plushies, video game ones, and anime ones. Some are on display in glass shelves in the media room, others are in bins kept in mint condition, and some he'll flip and sell for 3x the amount he bought them to other collectors. Heck, most recently my favorite item is a Toy Chica FNAF plushie. I don't carry her around, but I find joy in seeing her on my shelf. XD

No, it doesn't bother me. Though they stay in my house, I still have my childhood stuffed animals and have a stuffed animal I was gifted sitting on my console TV!

Only for male really. In ancient Rome daughters would cast off their doll into a fire, I think, when they were getting married. I can see why people would want to hold onto that. I don't hold onto it because I don't want to seem like a bitch, but it's different for women.

No. It can be a comfort to some people. I remember watching Love on the Spectrum US and one of the women said she loves stuffed animals but she cant carry them with her because it's not mature. That was sad but it's true unfortunately. Even worse for men.

Honestly I find that as a cute attribute in women. Men I find it creepy.

I'm biased because my girlfriend loves cute stuffed animals. And I fully enable that behaviour.
