Dating sites suck. They're full of liars, lazy people, and mentally unstable people. I had to wade through the waters of crazy people before I found someone great. XD
I did have encounters with goldiggers. They were people who were ugly, lazy, unemployed and were looking for someone with a high credit score and a house. I have those things, but I'm not about to date someone who's a burden.XD
I once watched a video about dating sites in Germany. They often have hired people to pretend they are looking for love.
No face time, rare calls, only the occasional and vague picture (edited by site mods), lots of texting back and forth, lots of daydreaming to keep the sucker in check and the kicker... premium membership required.
One woman openly admitted that she does this and currently has 6 virtual lovers. She's happily married, has a kid in school, but plays 6 different women. Apparently she's paid good.
I find this to be absolutely disgusting! Far worse than people lying about their height, weight, etc. Cause at least those are real people trying to get a date.
But the poor, saps that throw money into a dating site, mesmerized by pretty words and dreams... living in a fantasy world and never meeting said dream date in person - It's scamming and psychological destruction.
I'm capitalist, all the way, but even I wouldn't dare toy with people in such a way. Profit is great, but you don't profit from crushing someone psychologically - that's sick!
Everyone has told me that the only way to become financially
well off is to crush others in your path. It's nice to see someone who doesn't think that.
:)
My dad always told me that when it comes to business... It's always better to earn 100 bucks from 100 people, than earn 100 bucks from 1 person.
Always do business in a way that leaves your clients sufficiently happy, so they continue using your services. Find the sweet spot between zero and extortion.
Do you recommend dating apps at all?

If I ever went dating one I would dump them because they are people who uses someone into getting something they haven't earned.
