  • It depends on what I'm doing.

Typing is easier for me in some ways. My hands have been shaky recently, and pressing keys requires a lot less precision than writing things out. I also tend to grip pens way too hard when I'm writing. If I'm writing out a reminder, I need to have it on the computer, unless I write it on my body, because I'll lose whatever else I write on.

On the other hand, I can't really do math on the computer. I need to write things out. If I'm writing a story, poem, essay, or journal entry, I usually prefer to do a draft with a pen first, or else record myself talking about it. It's kind of a pain, because I type much faster than I can write or speak, but if I type out a first draft, I get frustrated with myself and end up deleting everything. On paper, I can cross things out without completely obscuring them, so I can come back to them later.
