Black metal is the shit. I like ambient and DSBM A LOT. I also like the blends like blackened doom and blackgaze. My favorite bands are Xasthur, MayheM, Burzum, Paysage d'Hiver, Lantlôs, and Peste Noire.
Death metal seems too commercial and it's just not deep enough for me :P Cannibal Corpse is okay in some songs, but I really just can't get into it.
