Do you perfer waffles or pancakes?

I live in the UK. Around here, if you ask for waffles, your in for a "Potatoary" suprise, we have waffles made out of chips/french fries.
We do have the pancakey ones, but they taste like they have been in lockup for 6 years and have the texture of a piece of rubber left to dry in the sahara sun.

Mmm, pancakes! I've ate those recently, and was planning on making some tonight.:D I like those dessert waffle things too, although I don't have them often. They are very tasty, though.
