Only shooting stars. They were actually once believed to be the gods being angry at the people. When people didnt know where meteors came from and saw them, they thot the gods were angry. Also they usually fell during thunderstorms mainly because nobody normally looks up a lot so when theres a storm u are looking up and u can see them. They were called Thunderstones. So the idea of wishing upon a shooting star was that they thot the gods were angry at them, therefore they had to make a wish so the gods would b less angry. LOL!! IM AWESOME!! So I only make wishes upon a shooting star because I was told thats wat people do. But it wasnt until recently that i found out in physics about that funny history. Lol, sick huh?
