Hell yeah. When me and my sister were kids our dad let us watch horror movies. If my mum had put her foot down and said they weren't good for us I probably wouldn't love them to this day. I'll always have a soft spot for Evil Dead cause it's the only horror movie that scared me when I was a kid. The more bloodier and scarier a horror movie is the happier I am.
I forgot to add I've been watching horror movies SINCE I was a kid. That is why they rarely scare me now because I've seen so many I'm immune to them :(
