Because I live in the Irish countryside, crime is extremely rare. I mean, the place I live looks like "The Shire" from "Lord Of The Rings."
Saying that, I know I SHOULD lock them, but I'm the first to admit my laziness in the locking ritual. At this stage, living here for my whole life, without a single break-in, locking doors simply prevents something that probably wont happen.
It looks like I'm the only one who chose the "Long periods of Time (Vacation etc) option. I would lock it when I'm away because I'd feel if (and that's a small "if") there was a break in, I'd like to be nearby, not in France, Spain or any other holiday destination, where I'm helpless.
If I lived in the city, I would definitely lock my doors!
Do you lock your doors?
