Do you lock your door while driving through a dangerous neighborghood?

Was sitting in my car driving through a typically dangerous neighborhood in traffic, so my car was going very slow and i locked the door, it made me wonder if others did.

      I keep my doors locked and my headlights on while driving.

      my bf's car actually locks when you start driving.

      but you realize if the gun is close enough to your car, your windows won't stop the bullet from penetrating, right?

      i mean from a distance sure it may help but if the shooter is within a few feet it won't stop much.

    My car's doors lock automatically. So I never worry about that.

    Yes. I grew up in a neighborhood that went to pot while I was living there. I have no qualms about carrying concealed or locking my doors.

    I picked no because my car doors are always locked no matter where I am. I'm not one of those people that think "it can't happen to me". Keep your doors locked at all times people.

    i live in a so called dangerous n,hood and i dont lock my car doors although i prob should. guess i just feel kinda sfe here coz i live here.

    I don't drive, so no. I do walk through dangerous neighbourhoods, though, and generally just hope for the best. There's not a lot else I can do.
