I don't go to parties baby
Cos people tend to freak me out
Watch their lips to work it out
I can hear the words but
I still don't know what it's all about
You won't see me down the disco mama,
Cos bright lights really hurt my eyes
I'd rather stay and dance with you
To the funky music
Playin' on our stereo,
Oooooooh
Things don't get no better, better than you and me
Oooooooh
Things don't get no better, better than you and me
I don't go to concerts baby
The music's always up too loud
The cigarettes and alcohol get up my ass
I always lose you in the crowd
You wont see me tribal ravin' baby
Cos I won't ever look that good
I'd rather dance in ugly pants
In the comfort of a lounge room in suburbia
Oooooooh
Things don't get no better, better than you and me
Oooooooh
Things don't get no better, better than you and me
Depends who's there and what happens and all that sort of thing. They're not something I'd miss massively if I had to go without them, and I'm usually not very keen on going to them. Although, I'm going to one tonight and I'm looking forward to that one because of who's going. Should be fun:)!
I like to party, but it depends on the kind of party. I love raves, I love house parties.. but college parties tend to bore me a bit. It's just a buncha people drinking way too much and trying to get laid.
I like my parties with good music and dancing and good friends and crazy conversations. Or weird ass bonfire adventures and walking the tracks and jumping in bushes and swimming in the river and just not giving a fuck. :D
I turned down a party tonight because I knew I wouldn't be able to drink and I only knew 10% of the people going. Knowing me; combining sobriety, strangers and parties wouldn't have been fun and I'd have been bored or home early. I usually love a good party though, so long as enough of my friends are going.
Aint no party like my nana's tea party hey ho. For any fotc fans here haha
It's pretty much my lifestyle. I party about 3 times a week. I am currently led on bed suffering from last nights events.
Part time job. My parents are poor so I get every grant and bursary going. I'm not even paying rent this year! Wooo!
I have to start paying rent in September though so I'm going to be fucked :(
I get a £4000 bursary each year from my uni but they only let you spend it on certain options, so I choose accommodation.
They won't let me spend it on accommodation next year, but I get free travel, as much food I want from uni, all my books free etc.
It depends on what type of crowd it is/what type of party it is. Criteria:
1) Girl/Guy ratio. It better be a really cool party if there's 2 guys for every girl or I'm not staying. But no matter how "cool" it is, if there's more than 2 guys for every girl then I am not staying, period.
2) There must be plentiful alcohol until *at least* midnight.
3) Crowd. What type of people are there? What type of people are hosting the party? Do I know any of them? Do my friends know any of them? Will there be things to talk about? Is it a college party?
4) Where is the party located?
5) And, obviously, I need a wing-man to go with me.
If I find a party that meets these criteria to my satisfaction, then I love a good party. For the record, the best parties I've been to have all been at a very large state university which is one of the top party schools in the country.
Define "party". That can mean doing dope or it can mean sitting home drinking beer or going out on the town.
"Party" as in clubbing or going to something like a birthday party? I've never been to a club and I haven't been to a regular party since my childhood. I don't enjoy them because I've got a phobia of being around people. It makes me very uncomfortable/stressed out and I don't like having to be around ridiculously loud music.
of course. when you're living in the moment, theres no greater moment than when you're partying with not a care in the world.
I like to party,,, but I don't much like going to parties. The two things have entirely different meanings/connotations here.
Nah, I don't like parties in general, the party would have to be focused on something I like to do. Family parties where non-immediate family would visit just bores me to death and I always find some chair or quiet room to whip out the 3DS or MP3 player. If there are too many people that I don't know, I'll be uninterested. I'm a nice person but not a people person so parties aren't my thing. If a party had a focus around gaming however, I'm in!
Sometimes, but only for a few hours.
I can party for 3 or 4 hours and having fun, but then it'll get annoying for me.
