  • The strip club problem...

You go in with a full wallet, you leave with an empty wallet.

You go in with a hard dick (at least mentally), you leave with blue balls.

Save yourself the trip and set your money on fire while jerking it for hours but never blowing a load.

I am a girl and dislike strip clubs.. I find it distasteful. I also wouldn't date a guy who frequents strip clubs because I would find him creepy lol I have a male friend who got coaxed into going to a strip club with some friends and he said he thought it was disgusting xD He said a woman rubbed her vagina on a poster and men were throwing bills everywhere trying to get her "herpes poster" is what he called it lol. Then he said she threw her panties at him and he freaked out, cause overall, being in a room with a bunch of horney men is not fun or comfortable. He is a very outgpoing guy to. Strips clubs were just not his thing xD

  • Never been, probably will never go to one.

The whole strip club thing disgusts me! Loads of men forcing women to audition for the job of being a stripper!

    Yours truly, feminist bullshitter.

Modern feminism actually believes it's the womans fault and that she's letting us all down.
It's old fashioned, badly dressed feminists, who blame it on the men, which is pretty pathetic. I'm not into the whole blaming of men. Every stripper I have met wanted to be there wholly. It wasn't there dream job clearly, but still, they do what they want.

      • Ha! That was funny. Must be a bunch of phantoms blaming men for it under the feminist flag then, right?

There is nothing wrong with stripping. If women want to, go for it. They have a right. This doesn't mean they will be respected for it, but it's still her choice. When they blame everyone else for their actions, then it becomes a problem.

No there seems to be two types of feminist these days. Those who dress unbelievably badly and pin the blame on men for EVERYTHING. Whereas modern feminism is quite free. Men aren't blamed for anything. Have you heard of the book How To Be a Woman? I don't know if you are actually interested in this stuff or not, but that may interest you. Explains a lot about feminist who are still stuck in their narrow minded past and the modern ones. But there's also some stuff in there that may be a bit boring to you. I don't know. Just a suggestion. I'm just saying feminism can't be grouped nowadays. It's so very split.
But yeah I agree, if you want to do it then do it. In this modern day world, no one gets forced into stuff like that.

Actually, a lot of modern feminists, including me, think that it's perfectly fine for a woman to choose a stripper. Stripping and sex work are kind of controversial issues, but there are many, many feminists who are ok with those things, as long as they're not forced. I also think it's fine for people to run strip clubs, as long as the strippers have safe working conditions.

Thinking that women who express themselves sexually are "letting us all down" is not a very feminist idea, to be honest.

Yeah that's basically what I believe. What are said are NOT my views, i'm just passing on the information. Modern feminist Caitlin Moran basically believes stripping is distasteful, not sexy and letting us women down. But then she believes burlesque is a whole different story.
To be honest, I don't know what my views are. Just basically go out there and do what you want. Although my experience of strip clubs, I do think two strippers performing oral sex (which is illegal in my country to do in strip clubs) a bit distasteful. Many of them told me they don't exactly enjoy it but that's what they do for the money.

I've worked as a dancer and it would be empowering if the men could only realize that we're not acually objects, we're performers. I worked in a classy place where we were pole artists and yet we were treated like trash. Yes, I'm the type of feminist who blames the men. So shoot me.

I really love the atmosphere. Once I went to a very private strip club and was very sad because the girls there were maybe 15yrs-18yrs.

it's a waste of money. the one in my area, you pay for a girl to dance on you naked. depending on how long you want her, it's about $34-$100, along with the $12 admission fee, plus you have to tip the girls.
worst thing is, you can't even touch them. they can touch you, but you can't touch them back. it's much better to just have a girlfriend.

I've never been in one and I'm probably too young, but they seem like a combination of all the things that make me feel awkward all attacking me at one time. I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy it, but then I'm happy to do a lot of things I think I won't and don't enjoy just once for the experience.

There's 2 types of people that go to strip clubs. The creepy losers who go to them frequently, and the normal guys who go RARELY to have some drinks with their friends while girls shake their tits at them and motorboat them. My first time going to one was last year in New Orleans, Bourbon street. Was a great experience and met a bunch of cool people and strippers :) Sure I spent a little more money than I should have, but it's a fun experience.

I used to work in clubs....

I did and still do enjoy visiting them once in a great while as a customer. I used to visit more frequently back in the day mostly out of curiosity, to see how different clubs operated, do recon, get ideas.

It can be fun. Even awful clubs can be very entertaining. Drinks are so damn expensive though, so that keeps me away most of all. Being a straight female, a $10 beer just isn't worth it!

Never been to one, but from what I've heard they aren't worth it, apparently the girls there have that "dead" look in their eyes too, so even if you got some real action, it would be one of an uninterested girl pleasuring a desperate male for her next pay-cheque.

Meh, I've seen some strippers while out partying with my friends. I don't hate them, but I'm not an avid strip club goer either. Seeing a bunch of trashy women with their clothes off doesn't make me horny. It's like a live rendition of Jersey Shore. Interesting to watch for a second, but you soon start feeling awkward and go look for somewhere else to waste your time.

I have a friend who decided to avoid a girl because she confessed she enjoys these kinda places. I find it radical, but I can see his point. I'm a guy and I wouldn't go to a strip club. But I don't represent my gender too well.

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • I've been to several since most of my friends have been male and that's where they go sometimes. I understand why they like it. Although, some of it is quite raunchy and I tend to feel a sympathetic embarrassment for the girl and what she is doing to make a living (like when they shoot ping-pong balls at the crowd).

I don't mind strip clubs. There is one in town that is well known for it's steak. Free range beef from a local farm. And I imagine the girls are quality as well because I don't think most of the guys really care that much about the food.
