I don't like her image, her music videos or her general 'character' since it all feels very forced and contrived. Did you see that bullshit at the start of the music video for 'Ride'? Most pretentious bollocks I've seen in a while.

Despite that, though, she does have 4 or 5 songs I genuinely enjoy, and has a pretty distinct sound compared with all the cheap, forgettable but compressed to death club anthems in American mainstream pop charts at the moment. I wish our radio stations here in the UK would filter out the debris and keep the gold instead of playing literally any shit labels pay them to. We need a new John Peel... On in the daytime. And on the TV! Rant over.

So yes I like her music.

Her music is garbage,main-stream music is garbage.

I've heard of her but I made a vow, a long time ago, to never listen to that auto-tuned commercial crap if I could help it.

I LOVE her music! I can't get "Summertime Sadness" out of my head! lol At least her lyrics aren't repetitive like most shit music these days. And I highly doubt she uses autotune either.

I got admit it did took for some time for me to like her music.
