Do you like cupcakes or muffins?

Because of where I live, muffins mean something quite different to me. Much as I like cupcakes, I adore barm cakes and oven bottoms. The rest of England (and the world) should have access to them too. There's something about a chip barm that just makes the world seem better.

Those words mean very different items depending where you live in the world.

I can not stand cupcakes with all that icing, looks good but doesn't taste like rainbows. You can just take the icing off leaving you little to eat. Muffins are great.

It depends what I'm in the mood for.

I hate cake, too sweet. I like some kinds of muffins, favorite being blueberry, but they have to be made right. Not too sweet.
