a meal ticket really? why do you think a dog love you? it will love anyone with food. and it will eat anything-shit, vomit, trash, poison etc.
when was the last time you saw a child attack someone? no shit it's too small to do that just like a cat is. and yes i have seen cats save people's lives in other ways. a dog would love to kill anyone.

Dogs are nationally acclaimed to be man's best friend for a reason, but that's not to say cats can be just as amazing.
A dog will not eat such things if you train it right. A dog will NOT attack ANYONE if you train it right AND TREAT IT PROPERLY. There's not a single animal in the world, as far as I know, that will attack a human without reason.
And a cat HAS attacked me before, and I've witnessed one attack my dad, most likely because it was abandoned and treated wrongly by humans and thought it was being threatened. Don't blame the animals for those type of things. It just shows both of your ignorance . . .
By the way, I'm pretty sure it's a well-known fact that animals love food. You can tame a rhino with food for chrissake. So I don't understand what point is trying to be made here lolo.
